Skydive Sim’s Latest Update: Wingsuits, Custom Gear, and a Little Halloween Magic

We just released a huge update for Skydive Sim, bringing more ways to fly, customize your gear, and enjoy the scenes around you. And with Halloween approaching, you might notice a witch flying past during your jump!
Here’s a look at some of the additions.
Smooth Turning, Your Way
Smooth turning is now enabled by default. If you prefer snap turning, you can switch back in the Options menu. Choose the turning style that feels most comfortable for you.
A Fresh Look for AI Skydivers

Our updated AI skydivers now have a more modern appearance, similar to the custom characters available to players.
You can keep the new AI skydivers, switch back to the legacy models, or turn them off entirely. The choice is yours in the Options menu.
Halloween Has Arrived
Our new seasonal effects bring a little holiday atmosphere to Skydive Sim. For Halloween, that means a flying witch with accompanying sound effects, skeleton AI skydivers, and a skeleton character you can choose for your own jumps.
During my wingsuit flight, the witch flew right alongside me and distracted me enough to lose my train of thought. Apparently, we’re sharing the airspace now!
Seasonal effects are enabled by default, and you can turn them off in the Options menu. The Halloween additions will automatically disappear when the season ends. We’re planning more seasonal content for Christmas and other holidays as we go.
Spread Your Wings
If you haven’t tried wingsuit flying yet, this is a great time to give it a go.
Enable the wingsuit using the wingsuit button, and you’ll be offered a tutorial to learn the controls. Wingsuit controls are different from regular freefall, so we highly recommend taking the tutorial before your first flight.
Make Your Gear Your Own

There’s a new Equipment tab in the Custom Character panel, giving you more ways to personalize your setup.
You can choose colors for your canopy, harness, and parachute bag, as well as select a wingsuit design. We’ll continue adding more customization options over time.
One detail to remember: selecting a wingsuit design changes its appearance. To wear it on your jump, you still need to activate it using the wingsuit button.
Ready for Your Next Jump?
Pick your gear, try a wingsuit flight, and enjoy a little Halloween company along the way. Whether you’re flying as yourself or jumping as a skeleton, there’s plenty to explore in the latest update.
